All our Aby's have been tested for Erythrocyte Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PK deficiency) which is an inherited hemolytic anemia that sometimes occurs in Abyssinians, Somalis and some domestic shorthair cats. If you do not see one of our cats on this results sheet, then the cat was an offspring of two of our negative/normal cats which would therefore also be negative/normal. ~ Nialah's Personality ~ "Nialah" (meaning "successful" in Egyptian) is a very silly girl! She LOVES toys of all kinds and will play for hours on end. She likes to carry sparkle balls around the house and hide them from all the other cats. So only she knows just where to find them when she is ready to play FETCH for hours!! She will bring it back EVERYTIME!!! She is a very busy cat and is always on the move. Nialah is OBSESSED with HAIR!!! WATCH OUT... she will sneak up behind you while your on the couch and start mauling your hair! She is TOO funny!

~ Ashante's Personality ~ "Ashante" (meaning "strong woman" in African) is such a sweet and gentle Aby! Her best buddy is Aleena and the two of them cause havoc together!! Aleena is the instigator and blames everything on Ashante. Ashante takes the blame every time... although I always know who's really is to blame! Asha loves playing chase the laser pointer and be carried around. She's one of the most common "bed lumps" as I make all the beds each morning. ~ Aleena's Personality ~ "Aleena" (meaning "noble' in French) NEVER STOPS and lives for getting in trouble!! She has SO MUCH ENERGY....If there is something to get into... she will FIND IT!! She doesn't EVER STOP PURRING!! Aleena LOVES to be carried around and stand right in front of the computer monitor or step on the delete button on the computer keyboard just as you have finished a long email! I'm sure she can READ!! There isn't a moment that goes by that she isn't trying to make you laugh with her antics! She demands to be loves and spoiled... and can't ever get enough. We love her dearly!

Fawnda (Alice)
~ Alice's Personality ~ With open arms we welcome Alice into our home. She is a very devoted girl who adores everyone who walks through our door . Alice also loves to help with homework... well she thinks she is helping while rustling papers and sending the pencil flying across the floor!!! Her favourite thing to do is play fetch! When I say "play fetch" I mean she will retrieve her chosen toy for hours going from person to person as each one of us tires... wanting us to throw it again and again and again. When she is in the mood she won't give up!! She's sbsolutley ADORABLE!!! She is beyond affectionate and also loves to be cuddled and held. Thank you Teresa ( Ruddicat Abyssinians ) for allowing is to have such a BEAUTIFUL girl!!!!

Puttin on the Ritz (Amara)
~ Amara's Personality ~ Amara is such a girly, girl... she is very elegant with the way she walks, carries herself and poses! She is on the go running and playing non stop! She has definitely been a busy kitten! She is obsessed with holding the tassels of her favourite blanket in her mouth... it was my faviourite blanket, but she soon claimed it as her own! She does this every single day! She also will play with anything that she can bat around with her paws, especially rolled up tin foil balls! She will be the first to get to a toy that has been thrown racing well in front of everyone else... to the point where some of our other furry kids give up! Amara also purrs not stop and has the sweetest face and uses it to her advantage... she knows if she gives you that sweet innocent look she will get treats! She's a smart cookie to as she is always thinking, trying to figure out things like unraveling the toilet paper!

Aisha at 5 months
~ Aisha's Personality ~~ Aisha (meaning "life" in Egyptian) is also welcomed into our hearts and home. She is our newest sweetest addition to our family and follows us around all day long always offering a helping hand. She doesn't let you out of her sight. She lives to be cuddled and carried around... especially loves tummy rubs, the more the better! Sweet is just the perfect word to describe her personality as she cuddles under your chin kneading and purring away!!!! She enjoys hanging out where ever our children are... sometimes on top of anything they are doing. She often curls up right next to anyone sitting, especially when Brandon and Stephanie are doing their homework. It's so nice as she is much more laid back and is such a little princess!! She melts all our hearts... how can she not!!! Aisha's favourite toy is the "Cat Dancer"!! Thank you Christie ( Hopscotch Abyssinians ) for raising such a GORGEOUS, affectionate and precious kitten!! We LOVE HER DEARLY!!

Heat of the Moment (Monet)
~ Monet's Personality ~ "Monet"... What a wonderful addition to our fur family!! She has the most sweetest personality you could ask for!! Always so affectionate and loves to be cuddled!! She follows us around and tries to get you to play fetch with her most favourite gold mouse toy!! She carries it EVERYWHERE and I mean EVERYWHERE!! It's ALWAYS in her mouth!! She so enjoys teasing Kiros with it and growls at him when he gets too close! Always makes us laugh as she follows him around and when he gets too close.... she growls then runs off protecting it. HILARIOUS!!! She has also got the most WONDERFUL colour and will be such an addition to our breeding program!! Our deepest thanks Mary, for allowing to have such a beautiful girl!!
